We've loved Todos Santos since the winds of life first blew us here nearly two decades ago. This small, dusty town is home to infinite intrigue, beauty, and adventure; truth be told, some things can only be discovered with time and the seasoned grit of a true local.
But other things? We're happy to share our list of favorites with you here. Welcome to our town.
where to eat
- Jazzamango - A stunning space overlooking town surrounded by its own farm. Order the zucchini carpaccio and homemade fettucini with short rib, and if you’re lucky and it's in stock, a bottle of the Madera 5 Nebbiolo.
- 1890 in the Todos Santos Boutique Hotel- Love the big cozy booths and old school ambience. Used to have amazing iguana wallpaper, which we still miss. We're long overdue for hosting a private dinner in their wine room...
- Dum- Three words: Lobster Ceasar salad. Plus, one of the town's only pool clubs; come for lunch and stay for a dip (and another margarita).
- The restaurants at Hotel San Cristobal- We LOVE the pool bar. Used to be our favorite spot to post up and work, margarita in hand; guests now enjoy exclusive access to it. Had a 10/10 private chef's dinner at Benno. Their new restaurant Cosecha is a beautiful, outdoor space with twinkling lights and delicious, fresh food.
- The Green Room at Villa Santa Cruz- Best view in town ❤️ and you can't beat sitting with your feet in the sand.
- Tequila Sunrise- Our all time favorite for Mexican food and a good cocktail (but more than one is NOT advised). Lunch and cash only.
- Los Adobes- Classic Mexican food that you won't find in other Mexican restaurants in town...and since it's right down the street from the shop, you'll probably see one of us there. The cactus garden is the best.
- Miguels- NY Times voted best chili relleno years ago, but we still think it's the best. Miguel's big hugs alone are worth the visit.
where to drink
We're just going to say it: Todos Santos isn't Cabo San Lucas. Don't expect a trendy bar/nightclub scene...but laid back, cool vibes and great cocktails? That's our speciality.
- La Copa at Todos Santos Boutique Hotel- A staple in town. Recently renovated, so it's a mix of classic Mexico and modern luxury. Some of our favorite margs and a cheese plate you don't want to miss. Perfect for an intimate date or a fancy girls' night.
- Violeta- A rarity in Baja and a total treat. Euro vibes with a great wine and cheese selection. Open Thurs- Sun.
- San Toro- Rooftop bar with trendy decor and good people watching. Feels a bit like Tulum. Gorgeous sunsets and nachos you don't want to miss...
